Question about F30 interior/seats - non-sport seats?

Hey guys - so, I ended up with a '15 F30 Sport line with paddles, nav, etc.

I was just looking around on my local dealers inventory and saw a '15 or '16 with black dakota leather interior, but noticed it has flat-bottom seats:

I guess I was confused - I thought dakota leather was always an upgrade and as such you got the sport seats. I don't see a "whisker" on the front bumper nor the lux/modern wheels on the car, so is there such a thing as a thing as a car below a Sport/Modern/Lux line? I see a few people around here with front bumpers that don't seem to have the whisker or lux/modern line bumpers:

My '13 seats and front end are exactly like the pic. I think mine is just a base BMW. I know it's not a Sport, it doesn't have the silver trim on the steering wheel. It has the 396 wheels, which I believe are the standard wheel. Dakota Leather was an option.

Yes, base (or, no line). Dakota leather is an optional upgrade, but it doesn't automatically upgrade to sport seats.

Non sport seats are an option on the car, but only if you don't order sport or M sport.

I think starting 2016, the sport seats were standard.
