Nav Disk

I found a bootleg copy of the 2008-2 disk with speed cameras on it. I was wondering if I will run into any issues using it. I had one of the dealers try it out for me and it works fine. But he was saying that every now and again the car will search for a code on the DVD, if it did not find the code it would lock up the Nav system.

Any one have any experience with this?

I doubt it would lock you out... but didn't the dealer give you the nav dvd with the car?

I got an 07 disc. Are people getting 08s/

I hate my dealer, I didn't get //M mats or any extra oil got 07 disc etc..

I am purchasing the car through Pentagon Auto Sales over here in Germany. They do not give a disk, for some reason.

Besides the thing about this copy I got it has the speed trap cameras on it.

I get my M3 sometime next week fingers crossed, or early the week after.

does the nav dvd in Germany normally show the speed cameras or is that something that only your bootleg copy has?

Post pics when you get your M3, I know the feeling about pentagon car sales my M3 finally got built

over a year of waiting and delays, it is on a ship coming to the states to me. Its sucks when you don't have a real dealer to give you things such as M3 floor mats, I bought my own, I still got to buy a Nav. disk

oh well I will just be happy to finally have my M3

The speed cameras do not come on the OEM Nav Disk.
