Possible 1/2 Mile Project - 6AT Trans Build?

Gentlemen, I'm getting the itch to build a sleeper for half mile airstrip events. I would like to start with a 335xi coupe 6AT. For all out trap speed RWD 6MT is probably faster, however with the terrible launch surfaces I want all wheel drive and an auto trans for uninterrupted power.

Last I checked (2013-2014 time frame) the auto trans couldn't handle much above 500 TQ even with the trans tunes. With a much higher initial goal than 500, I was hopeful that there has been developments and successful builds of the auto trans.

Any info to share?

Cheers.

Check out Propulsive Dynamics, I personally dont run their AT upgrade but I have seen great reviews for them over at SS.
