BBI hosts Cars & COffee drive and BBQ

SoCal guys, you don't want to miss this one!
http://www.carsandcoffee.info/roadtrip/

I don't know if I'm doing the C&C part, but I'm going to BBI. I was just there today for the first time and this seems to be a really great shop!

I know, but Batim at BBI thought it was good to post about it. I'm sure they can use all the potential business we can bring them. Maybe don't partake of the BBQ until all the RSVP people have eaten.

My pics.

I got there a little early. Many more cars showed up over the next hour:

I chose to park with the Cobras, rather than with the P cars:

One particularly pretty Cobra rep:

A GT-R showed up. A better-looking "ugly" car in person. VERY large. This paint color (don't know the name) is reminiscent of the E39 wheels' shadow chrome:

Some more BMWs:

A very cool old Mini with a Honda V-Tech motor and good suspension work:

A Vette-based kit car:

Mad Dog and Ian's Z3 MCs:

Old muscle and new muscle:

An old Porsche Spider (or replica?):

Another overview of the show:

SoCal Zs:

The first Mercedes Blutech I've seen:

Some pics from inside BBI:

A one-off BBI header for the AMG CLK 63 Black Edition:

A proper race-style diffuser they built, and the crappy stock one:

Also at the show was Eric from Carbon Smith. As some of you already know, they worked with BMS in building the CF roof that I have on my Z4 M Coupe. Two days before the BBI show Eric dropped off this trunklid for the 911. This first part is a TEST FIT ONLY, but it looks so good that BBI had two offers on it in just two days. It bolted on with no fitment issues in just 10 minutes. It uses full weave for the underside instead of shot-fiber and is amazingly strong.
