BMW X7s are now arriving at BMW dealerships but before you rush to pick yours up know that no deliveries will be allowed until March 1st.

Here's the X7 next to a Lexus LX for size reference.

Pretty hard to top the ugliness of that Lexus.

Those BMW grills certainly need to be blacked out, but like I said it's not as horrid as the Lexus.

Good catch, there's an i3 just in the edge of the picture. Next to that the Lexus takes the ugly award. :

there must be a log in your eye.. ??

Surely you are referring to the LEXUS grille as the ugliest thing in the photo.. ?

Having not seen one in person, and as "massive" as everyone has been describing it, it actually appears to mask its size well.

I consider the LX 570 to be massive (same league as Infinity's monstrosity - the QX80), and it does appear to be significantly larger when parked next to the X7.

It would be interesting to see the X7 parked next to a Yukon, Suburban, etc.

Either way, I think it's a much cleaner and far more modern design than any of the body on frame dinosaurs traversing our local shopping malls.

The LX is ancient. It had a thorough refresh a couple years ago but is still very old.

X7 isn't really much of a looker IMO. It's handsome but the Range Rover and upcoming GLS (based on spy photos) will be more attractive. With that being said, the X7's interior appears to be of superior quality. Really splitting hairs there though.

The grills are hideous. The Lexus is also ugly but that doesn't mean that the current BMW direction with larger grills is a good one. In other words, beating out a Lexus on the beauty scale is a low bar.

It's not just the X7 - the X5 grills are also terrible. First time in 17 years I don't have a BMW in the garage....

We own the Lexus since the facelift and the wife gets compliments all the time so not sure why so much hate. But I guess I have owned the not cool BMW's too such as F80, E60M5, Z4 coupe E86, 3 series wagon E91.....

The kidneys looked too large to me, but in person I think it works great with the overall design. Attached the front-on pic I took of a carbon black m sport.
