22" w/ DHP X50i Harsh?
Hello,
I extensively test drove a X50i today , (I highly suggest you contact Paul Jang at South Bay BMW if you ever need a great deal and the best service). This car did not have the 2 axle air, had the normal M suspension, and the 21" with runflats (which I find kinda ugly). My build currently is ~ 102k, basically all the options except night time vision and the air axle. My concern is that with the 22" wheels and the DHP Suspension. I did not find the ride on the X5 I drove above to be harsh, will the DHP and 22 be worse, or will it be about the same or better because the 22" are not runflats? Thanks! |

I have the DHP with those lovely 21" RFTs you keep mentioning and it rides smoothly. Roads by me are garbage, even so I've only found a few places to be harsh. 22"s should ride fine

Some bumps might be on the harsher side as I found our today but it's worth the nice looks Still on 21 RFTs I'll swap to non RFTs once these need replacing either way I think the 22" are nice aside from no tire options like their 21"s
