M2C M-Performance Exhaust 03-2019 Availability?
I found this today and looks to be recently released. Shows availability is scheduled for March-2019 at the bottom. North America only.

LOL BMW is over estimating the numbers. Stock weight is 21 kgs and if they remove 8 kgs of that, they didn't do a great job.
Although that it is clearly visible if you look at that absolutely massive rear muffler. Why so big?? Luckily it is not sticking out downwards, but upwards. MR |

Same here! I am checking if this is all true or not. I checked the dealer pricing warehouse system and it says unavailable and price unknown, but yes I know I checked an European dealer.
Still U.S. parts should pop in there and pricing as well. Any U.S. guys here who can check with their dealer? MR |

Whats with the name "M Performance Silencer System"? Silencer?? Was it always called this? Why not M Performance Exhaust? Seems strange to me.

I got an update from my friend who is a parts manager at a BMW dealer in Toronto. Here is what he said after getting an update on the part from head office: "Ok, so exhaust is actually expected June/July currently. There were some delays, its still in testing phases in Germany apparently, and no pricing info yet."

Hmm, I somehow doubt it's still in testing in Germany. The MPE was announced last spring with on-going development all year. Delays were had last summer and fall, into winter. Plus I also doubt they'd release this notice unless the product was ready to go.
That said, I think I'll call my local US parts guy, lol

Did anyone figure out why they chose to name it Silencer? The name scares me that it willbe even quieter than stock.

An exhaust without silencers is a straight pipe system. The standard exhaust has mid and rear silencers. Attenuator might be better? Lol. Similar to the air intake and filters is called "intake silencer" |

Guys,
hereby an update directly from BMW M. The titanium MPE is planned for availability in April. This is based on all final tests being signed off and no further changes in requirements happening. The system will only be available in US and Canada, and nowhere else. Pricing is unknown at this stage. MR |

As far as pricing, wouldn't it just be the same as the old M2? ...at least in the same ballpark. ...which is about $2,000 (but IDK if it's titanium) (I'm a first-time BMW owner) https://www.shopbmwusa.com/PRODUCT/5...EXHAUST-SYSTEM |

Negative, this one will be Ti, well at least the muffler, the piping is stainless steel. My guess is it'll be in the 4500-5500 range with tips. As a comparable, the Akra slip-on, which is full Ti, goes for about 4900, including tips. So maybe something under that for the MPE...?

Also be aware there was no slip-on for the M2 as far as I know. Only an absolute crap engineered system that was not titanium, had a drone and vibrated massively at start up. What a rubbish. Although 2K USD is quite a good price for such a POS. This system here is only a backbox, reaf muffler, slip-on... Whatever you want to call it. All the same for the same thing.
