E93 Exhaust Options???
I know this has been discussed but still didn't get much from any previous posts. Can I go with any cat back made for e92 with slight modification? I haven't been able to find many details on exactly what needed done because of brace. My local shop said almost any e92 exhaust should work and they can heat pipe to clear brace if needed. I would love to hear options, videos, etc. Also was wondering if it would be possible to run the Cobb on the convertible since it's only 1 pipe? I would love to hear all input...

On my 2007 e93 all I did was replace the stock muffler with two separate "turbo" mufflers. I still have cats on mine, so it isn't overly loud, but loud enough for me. Does it drone? yes, but nothing like straight pipes do.
I guess call it a tolerable drone rectified by turning up the radio for extended drives on the highway. I haven't taken a sound clip, but I might be able to once it warms up a little bit outside. |
