Comfort Handeling Package

I ordered the Comfort Handling Package along with my M-sport Package.
It says In order to make this addition, you'll remove:

Adaptive M Suspension.

Is this advisable? I like what the Comfort Handling package provide.
I ordered all of the other packages

Depends what you want. The M sport will handle better than the air suspension. We regret not getting the comfort package as our Xdrive40i m sport has a huge turning radius compared to my 5er. We test drove a G05 with the IAS that comes with the comfort handling package and it made it feel like I was driving my G30 when doing turns which really helps in the tight parking spaces that we have here in SoCal.

My advice applies for the xdrive40i only. If you’re getting the xdrive50i, you should forget the comfort package and get the Dynamic handling package so you get the best suspension on the G05. I don’t particularly like the air suspension, but it’s a necessary evil in order to get the IAS on xdrive40i models.

I'm confused. My build includes the M Sport Package, Air suspension, and the Comfort Handling Package. It's not either/or.

And it's an xDrive 40i.

I have same built. Air suspension/ CHP overrides M suspension... so our cars will look cool.. but ride softer than M Suspension cars.

I hope loss of handling powers will not be significant and investment in air suspension will pay off in terms of saved rims and tires when hitting potholes. LOL! I only chose Air suspension because I expect to tow a lot.

If you want sportier handling and damping with air suspension, set it in Sport mode.

Also air suspension isn't going to save your rims and tires when you hit pot holes. All it's going to do is soften the force transmitted to the cabin. You're still going to hit the pot hole just as hard with/without air.

Thanks, that's what I thought.

The G05 suspension and handling is an improvement over the F15. I think air + Sport mode handles pretty darn well. You get benefit of air suspension - vehicle entry, loading, unloading plus IAS makes easer to maneuver at slower speeds.
