Carbon Fiber Mirror Covers?

I have been contemplating on fitting a few small Carbon Fiber trim pieces onto my car, and I really wanted to get carbon fiber mirror covers. However, and after much searching around, for BMW’s, I had noticed there were CF mirror covers only for E36’s, E46’s, E90’s, E92’s, etc. Unfortunately, I could not seem to successfully locate a company other than Hartge that made carbon fiber mirror covers for our particular chassis, the E85/86.

So, I was wondering if any of you out there have come across any other company that does manufacture good quality carbon fiber mirror covers of our vehicles. If so, let me know.

I've checked. Its over $1000 for a set of these. I wanted them a long time ago but I can't justify the cost for something that adds no performance or offers any weight loss. You'll also be hard pressed to get them as there aren't really any Hartge dealers in North America.

Best to get one of the fellow board members here in Germany to help buy and ship it.

I've always wanted the Hartge steering wheel, but it too is extremely expensive.

You gotta be kidding me. $1k for mirror covers? Something is drastically wrong with this picture.

If my memory serves me correctly, the E90 CF mirror cover is only ~$200. Not sure why the one for E85/86 is much higher.....

Update, I talked to a company here in California and they are working on getting us these covers. The name of the company is EuroDyne, their website is: http://www.euro-dyne.com

Actually Chris (laidback) was with me at a local meet when we talked to them, hope that we can get these done and I will guess that the cost will be very similar to the overlays for the e90 or e92.
