Anyone on here with RE71R or R888R with pics?

I'm looking to get a square set up year round, and I like that beefy summer tire look.

The widest tread width that exist for our cars in 285/35/20 is the RE71R where the 285/35/20 is actually wider than the average 295 tire, and the R888R (obviously the R888R overall is not a good idea for a street tire) where the 285s are almost identical to the average 305 tire.

Is there anyone here that has successfully installed either tire on their car with 11/12mm spacers?

Would be great if you could post some pics!

Wow, so you have R888R all around? Are they on OEM 20"? Do you have spacers, do they rub?

Thanks! No clue where you can upload them, maybe someone can chime in?

R888r's all around on OEM wheels. 285/35r20. No spacers.

No rubbing.

Track next week. The stock Michelins lasted six track days. These will be much stickier. We'll see how long they last.

Wow, damn, I need to know if it's possible to throw 11mm spacers front and rear with these, I highly doubt the rears will clear but damn that looks aggressive!

My guess is that on hard bumps they would rub in the back. I don't think they'll tuck.

These tires were good and fairly sticky for the first three hours on track...

Pressures were hard to regulate. These heat up A LOT. Had to put the starting pressure low to get to the recommended 35 psi hot that Toyo recommends. They still fell off after THiS happened:

Hard to keep grip at 190 F tpms temp.

Maybe should have kept them at 39 psi hot. Maybe.

Installed RE71R no rubbing at all with spacers. Crazy how close it is though, prob 1-2mm max from rubbing. Looks really aggressive too.

They were very sticky at first (just like all R888's) but fell off with multiple heat cycles.

Need to aim for 35 psi HOT. This was hard to keep consistent.

Other problem - they were LOUD. Randy Pobst went out of his way to come to my garage thinking I had a differential problem. It was just the tires. They make a very ugly high speed whine that sounds like gears going bad.
