Non-Run-Flat Tires

I was curious what current owners of the F90 think of the non-run-flat tires that are OEM on the car. Do they ride better than the run-flats, and has anyone had to call Mr. Flatbed at an importune time?
Thanks, in advance...

Non run flats always ride better than run flats. The pilot sport 4s is probably the best summer tire available.

+1, vast majority of tire reviews I have read have placed the 4s on top. I have them on my BMW albeit not M5 (yet) and I love them. Stick like glue and great feel. There some tires that are good but a notch below and cheaper. 4s are worth it!

My car came with Pirellis (non-run-flats). I switched them out for Michelin Pilot SuperSports (not P4S because I'm a bit 'meh' on them for now). That said, I did have run-flats on a few of my bimmers and without a shadow of a doubt, regular tires ride better. If you've got the 20" wheels, you can increase the width front:rear by 10mm which helps the visuals and the cornering traction.

Run flats are terrible.

Why meh on the 4S? I ran PSS on both of my F10 M5's and now running 4S on M5C and could not be happier. Exceptionally good tire in every facet.

Mine came with pirellis and they are ok but I was running 4s on my 911 and just like the super sports before them Michelin makes the best tires money can buy. Opinion of course.

My subjective assessment stems from switching tires out in my E63S--in short, I felt that the Pilot Supersports drove better overall. The comparison was back to back (PSS to P4S) with the former offering better traction and a quieter ride. I understand I'm in the minority here but hay ho.

What's so bad about the Pirellis?

I have winter shoes on right now but my car actually came with competition rims and Pirellis, which I'll be swapping out in a few weeks…

I know most people run the 20's, so the Pilot Sport 4s is a good choice.
I have the 19's, which came equipped with Yokohama Advan Sport. I've got 5000 miles on them, and have been very impressed. They're actually a bit more costly than the 20" Michelin, But I'll probably get them again when the time comes.
