H&R Springs Front *ONLY*

Have anyone on forum just change out their front springs only and left the rear stock? I have friend do this on his E60 and F10 and no issue? Any feedback on this issue? From what I'm told the drop on F90 M5 H&R rear spring is not that big of difference? Thanks.

I have the F90 H&R's and the front drops about 1.2 inches if not a little more and the rear is about .6 of an inch. I think it would look off with an excessive rake if one did not use both front and rear.

Thanks, I know I’m not only person have thought of this?? Someone has done it and did not share pictures! Just heard there were issues with taking out back seat and time and price? Was it worth the .6 drop in rear? Thanks for your input.

Well, the moment I saw my car with all 4 new springs, I had exactly the same thought. I haven't tried it yet so can't attest as to whether it works... just figured I'd lend a +1 to your idea.

By the way, it did not require the backseats to be removed or anything else similarly invasive interior-wise.

The spring installation in the rear is more invasive than your typical install, but it's not nearly as bad as I had feared like you. The rear headrests have to be removed and then the upper deck comes off and that's about it.

Do it right the first time.

Here is my car with the F90 drop, its more conservative for me personally but I think others might like it. The key about using both the front and back is to not have the rake. The rear is takes longer to process but its not difficult. I would 100% suggest if you are doing the F90 H&R's that you do front and rear:

Not that bad.

It is the same process as G30.
But way easier on the bottom for F90 M5.
