Anyone else experiencing slow wireless charging speed? Seems like it barely goes up in battery percentage. I am using iPhone X iOS 12.2

This is normal! It's very inefficient compared to wired charging.

Not only it is slow, but also it make the phone so warm. Something is off about that charging pad. Reminds me of $5 qi charging pad from ebay shipped from China back in the day when Qi Chargers were new

is this a device issue or bmw issue? If it's bmw then they should be on the hook to fix/replace it. If it's only 5watts i get why it charges slow, but why then is it making the phone so hot? At this point there's no reason why a company like bmw shouldn't be putting the 7.5w/10w fast charging in their vehicles.

This is not a device (phone) issue as I have tried iphone Xs, Pixel 3, Galaxy S10 and they all get hot and charge very slowly so BMW put a crappy Qi charger under that pad to save a few bucks
