07 E93 back seat keeps falling forward when braking. Latch?
Hi folks, the back of my rear seat should lock in place when it is upright, it can also be folded flat (as extra luggage space?).
The lock (latch?) used to work fine but now is not engaging so the rear seat tilts forward if I brake hard. The latch should only release when the buttons (located at the top corners of the rear seat) are pressed, it looks like something inside the seat has gone wrong so the buttons are now permanantly pressed in. Is this known issue / any suggestions how to unstick the buttons so they pop back to their normal "not pressed" position?

Maybe just pry on them lightly, I've never seen them stick like that. Mine came unlatched and slammed down onto my back seat once, but then again I had the top down and was doing about 125mph, scared the crap outta me.

Thanks for the suggestions
I'll try to pry the buttons up once I find something I can "hook" under them. The latch is permenantly "unlocked" even when the seat back is slightly forward so the problem is inside the seat back, nothing to do with the part fixed to the chassis. I've tried slamming it up to shock the stuck bit loose but it's made no difference.
