Killing time waiting for M340i reviews

I was being facetious.. but seriously, I do not want to see a review titled
“Hyundai Sonata bests M340ix on skid pad test “, if so, let me see it before I commit to 3 years!!
They already tested the 3.3L genesis g70, and it scored well in the majority of their criteria, and you can get one for less than 60k. I'm not sure there's any point waiting for the bimmer anyway. Apparently Korea builds a better German-style sports sedan.

They definitely have my attention, as M340i's start arriving at dealers my wife and I are going to be putting the two head to head and extensively test driving and comparing both. We have our eyes on a Havana Red G70 3.3T, shockingly only $53k! Should be interesting to see how they compare.

Also before the "IT'S STILL A HYUNDAI" comments come in. I think Hyundai have proven themselves well in the last couple of years, and don't mind. All I care about is how good the car is.

Go and drive the Tesla Model 3 Performance first. You'll be flabbergasted, like I was yesterday!!

I did test a model 3, not performance, but the long range awd, and while I did enjoy it, I couldn't get past the interior and touchscreens, and this vehicle will mainly be my wife's and she doesn't like the look and doesn't like that there's no buttons in the interior. Its a very nice car, but doesn't fit our needs, but should be interesting to see what Tesla does in the future. We will be interested in seeing what other electric cars both Tesla and the germans release, but my wife and I aren't ready for electric yet.

I actually like it in red. It's a nice looking car, and if the performance is as good as the reviews claim, it certainly makes a case for itself. At the end of the day, a car is a depreciating asset either way, so if you can get the performance and utility you want for less, why not. There are better things to spend money on.

That said, today I saw a nicely maintained e39 m5, and I shamelessly gawked at it until it was out of sight. Sounded phenomenal too. Good old school v8 growl. People were probably watching me, and thinking, "whats the big deal with that old bmw anyway?" Lol.

Anyhoooo the salesman was asking me more questions about my M4 than I could ask about the Gxx car,
and said he prefers bimmers, and had a 7 series.

Welp, I didn't get to test the car since they had none available.

But, interesting atmosphere, balloons and crying babies!!
Lol! They need to up their dealership game around here to promote the right
consumer experience. whole different experience at the Porsche dealer.

Very true, most Hyundai dealers aren't that nice, luckily the one near me has mainly good reviews, and one of the salesmen mentioned that Genesis vehicles always get Genesis loaners, no Hyundais, it is one aspect I do have concern, but I would also expect a Genesis to be visiting the dealer less than a BMW, and I do most of my own maintenance so I rarely go to the dealer unless warranty work needs to be done, but still I doubt it will be the same experience as my local BMW/Porsche/Mercedes dealers that I mainly go to/purchased cars from

You get used to nice dealerships for sure. It seems petty but it's nice to have plasma screens in the lounge, a coffee and refreshment bar etc.
