Siri keeps reading my messages in Apple CarPlay!

Does anyone know how to stop Siri from reading my messages in the M5 F90. Carplay is great but I would rather not have everyone know what people are sending me...

It's ridiculous that the list of the last few people to have texted you pops up automatically and there is no way to turn it off.

I have to disable CarPlay when I have guests in the car.

Also, I find it hard to believe that BMW thinks this feature is worthy of a yearly subscription charge! I'll drop it for sure.

Its a setting somewhere. Mine will show that I received a text, but will not display or read it (unless I ask Siri to). You can also disable text notifications (or any other notifications) in CarPlay like this - http://www.iphonehacks.com/2017/01/d...e-carplay.html

Alright I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds this to be a problem. Honestly I tried everything and it seems like there is no fix to this issue

Hmm, as I said above my setup does NOT read my text messages. So hopefully your situation is fixable

It doesn't read it when I received it but once I go to my phone to reply to the message then Siri will read it and ask me if I want her to reply for me..
