Carbahn tune anyone?

Anyone planning on going with the Carbahn tune?

https://carbahnautoworks.com/product...e-f80-f82-f83/

I noticed they also have a Stage 1 and Stage 2 option, but both of those recommend a crank hub modification.

I'm interested in the CarBahn tune but only because of the warranty. What concerns me is the warranty has an exclusion if you use any other aftermarket performance mods other than CarBahn in conjunction with the tune. But they sell Dinan intakes and exhausts on their website. So if I purchase the CarBahn tune with the warranty along with the Dinan intake and exhaust, does that mean I've just invalidated the CarBahn warranty on the tune by installing the Dinan products?

Anyone know for sure?

I might do this. 1800 is a lot but I think it will hold its own for resale

Dinan warranty doesn't cover you if you have an issue while on a track. I am sure carbahn will be the same way. Just something to consider for those who want to track their cars. I've read of a few denied claims due to on track incidents.

As an overall package though it does seem tempting for those performance numbers which are similar to a stage 1 bm3.

Bootmod3 is still the number one choice for flash tunes in my opinion

I agree but I don't plan on keeping this car so resale and a warranty is important.

I know I'd be hesitant to buy an already flashed car without any support from the vendor in terms of parts failing.
