Headlight washers won't work - am I missing something

Car is a 2011 335is and it has the front washer holes/covers.

I made sure the washer is not inactive through coding and it's active.

I tried having my lights on, on auto and pull the washer a few times. My light still seems dry and not washer spray on it.

Any other idea to look at? Now that winter is over it's not that big of a deal but I would like to make it work.

Pump could be out or clogged. Reservoir is in the right fender behind the wheel. Separate pumps for headlights and windshield (and for rear if an E91). Over time gunk builds up in the bottom of the reservoir where the pumps are and clogs the filter screens and/or the pump motor goes bad. Google for DIY videos. Just did all three of mine (2010 E91) a couple of months ago.

But just to be clear, if I'm stopped with the car, with lights on auto and turned on with darkness, pulling the windshield washer stock it should at least pop out one time right to clean the lights? If it's working.

Omg! I popped the washer covers because I was about to remove my bumper for intercooler install and there is nothing behind

I checked in coding and everything is set to activ as well...?

Why the hell does my bumper have the covers then...

Have you run a VIN decoder to see what options your car did/did not have? Here's one: http://bimmer.work/

You would be looking for option 502 - Headlight Washer System.

I did before but I didn't think it was an individual option. I thought it was part of cold climate package and since I had the ski bag I thought my car was cold climate version.

But my car shows hot climate version damn. I thought all Canadian cars were cold climate version.

Previous owner removed it because it broke or they didn't like it? Or replacement bumper?

Unplugged mine and turned them off in coding because I didnt want those making my car dirtier ever faster than it already is. Plus one line was clogged making it lazy and looked stupid not coming up all the way.

In my case I have the 335is bumper I think all 335is are shipped with washer covers.

My 2010 335i also has the covers and no washers. I don't think it's a case of replacement bumper or washers being removed...the covers clip in in a way that a washer wouldn't work.

Yes exactly. Tried to "open" it before with my finger nails couldn't pop it of. Once I popped them off with a pry tool for the bumper realized how hard they are clipped in, definitely there to not move.
