Best way to mount phone for dedicated MHD monitor/gauges?
I’m leaning towards hardwiring power to the left driver side vent but don’t know which mount works best. Looking for input based on what you all have done. Let me see them setups!
FYI I have factory nav screen and mount for my cell in center console area |

I really like it. Feels extremely solid and unless I pry the dash panel apart it's not coming off. They have other style mounts also, depending on where you want it; https://www.proclipusa.com/vehicle/d...series-m3/2009

+1 for ProClip. It's expensive for what it is, but totally worth it for the integration
I've got one that mounts near my ash tray. I like it a lot. If I had to do it again, I'd probably do the higher mount so it's easier to see. |

Does it get in the way of the passengers legs at all?

I use a CD slot mounted, sprung phone holder. It obscures your vents less and who even owns a CD these days?

I don't use my cd player, but if I wanted to, now I can't.

Just ordered a pro clip. Thanks for the suggestions. In the event I want a second option, anyone running a vent clip? Any decent ones available that work well with our vent grills (specifically drivers side)?

Good call on the pro clip, you'll like it. Install is straight forward just read instructions.

Thinking about doing this myself
Doesn’t look too expensive and seems like it would clean up the inside from cords etc
