I'd say sport and cold weather. I don't have sport and wish I did. Cold weather package has been very useful especially when my battery died and I needed to get in the trunk. I have premium as well, which is nice but I'm not sure how much I need it. I think technology package at this point is fairly dated looking and feeling and I personally like the classic look of the no screen dash.

Awesome! What exactly does the sport package include? Im definitely going to need the cold weather to deal with the snow and my battery dying because of the inevitable cold haha

Front and rear bumpers are more aggressive. Plus you get paddle shifters. I'd go for it if I were you. Was looking to buy 328i 2011 and finally found one with only 35k. Month after purchase realized that there is something that's called "sport package" lol, I wish I knew about sport package before I bought mine car.

Cold weather package doesn't really add any anti cold measures, it's mostly just the split folding rear seat and headlight washers.

Hold out for my favorite package - the third pedal package!

I wish my car had folding rear seats and xenons. My suspension is better than the Sport Package, but I do wish for buckets and the thick steering wheel sometimes. I don't think I'd buy a car like this without heated seats.

On an 335i xDrive most cars will already come with navigation and cold weather package.

On a 328i xDrive you should need:

-cold weather pkg (to get heated seats, heated steering wheel, fold down seats, headlamp washers)
-xenons (for the long winter nights)
-navigation (for the vast territory upstate NY)

Then your first order of business is to ditch any runflats that maybe on the car and get Continental DWS06 tires. Also do the rear fog lamp modification and replace the battery as soon as you suspect the battery to be failing.

PERFECT!!!

Avoid the crappy base stereo from he first half build of 2011.

They went back to hi fi as the base option halfway through that year.
Still not that good but it's easier to modify.

If you get the Logic 7 amp and speaker system then the whole year
is available.

As far as I am concerned sport seats are a must .
Which means you need the sport package.

2009 was the last year before de contenting.
