Hey Everyone,

I drive a BMW 328XI and want to stick to this car. I already have several visual mods in mind, but now I'm thinking about performance. I was wondering if I could get everyone's input on what mods/chips I could do with this car to add a little horsepower to the N52 engine. I know there's not much you can do (as in can't add a ton of power) to the 328 and for anyone who was gonna say it I'm not planning on buying a 335, lol thanks!

Search is your friend.

Otherwise....

3 stage intake manifold off a 330/530/x3
Headers
Maybe airbox/intake?
Exhaust (a little?)
a tune from Bimmer perf center
a different diff.
A supercharger

That's about all I can think of.
Oh, hope you have a 6-Speed. That really helps.

I've been thinking about the same things recently, however I have a SULEV n51 engine, so I have other problems, but what I have heard is that a AA or BPC tune is the way to go for a quick performance boost, however I don't know if that could lead to problems with the car not being able to breath (especially on my car that has a secondary air system). Also with the whole comparison of AA vs BPC, from what I've heard AA is the more standard way to go but BPC really pushes the limits, so that could be a problem and a blessing at the same time.

Better asking questions or searching in the
NA Engine (non-turbo) / Drivetrain / Exhaust Modifications section.
