Looking to tackle the folding rear seat retrofit for my car (e90 328i) and all of the seats I've seen on the 'bay are regular leather, but I have Sensatec.

Did they make Sensatec folding rears and I'm just not seeing them?

Also, any advice on places to look for seats would be awesome.

They did make the folding rear in SensaTec. My ex used to have an 07 AW e90 328i with folding schwarz SensaTec seats and a ski pass.

I think that a lot of the 'bay seats may in fact be SensaTec and the pickers and yards just have it wrong. Also there is a thought process that because they are "vinyl" or fake that they are inferior so that may lead to them being misrepresented as leather. Then there is the fact that BMW SensaTec fools most uninformed.

Ebay and craigslist seem to be the best places for this... that and part-outs on this forum.

They did in Canadian 328i; it was standard and known as Leatherette. Love the fold down seats and ski pass through!

I'm pretty sure American 328i also came standard with it and the real leather I thought was an upgrade?

This is correct... US 328i's all cam standard with leatherette or SensaTec, dakota leather was the upgrade. Cloth wasn't offered

Personally I think the manual cloth sport seats are bad ass and total featherweights compared to the leather memory sport seats but that is probably because you couldn't get them here.

there is plenty of the cloth, alcantara combinated with cloth and leather combinated with cloth seat parts in Europe
if someone seriosly interested in such seats in US or Canada i can ship seat covers or complete interiors in US
