I purchased this unit because it utilizes the OEM MIC only, unlike the UNICHIP unit.

It works properly, however it is better suited to 6.5" display. Although there are DIP switches for a 8.8"/10.25" display. However the carplay screen does not utilize the full screen, just a Carplay Logo appears in the unused space (UNICHIP allows widescreen Carplay).
