Polish!!!

List your product of choice please!
I Don't understand polishes but i'm gonna buy/use one. But I've been told to use it after clay baring and before waxing, EVEN THOUGH MY CAR IS 3 MONTHS OLD AND NEAR PERFECT! I was also told to replace the word "abrasive" when speaking of polishes with the word "cleaning." The bottom line is that I need a high end product that is not damaging or abrasive to the clear coat. BTW Alpine White 08 M3 if that makes a difference in the product. I heard Zymol makes some legit but expense stuff.

Skip it for a while unless you see a lot of swirls.

Do you recommend skipping the clay baring as well and going straight from wash/dry to wax?

Don't skip the clay. It is for dirt stuck in the paint. This can accumulate from the factory to the dealer.

If you can see swirls from the reflection of the sun, I strongly suggest you polish. As for polish and clay, they are both considered abrasives whether its extreme or mild. Since your car is new I would clay and do a light polish. Then follow through with a sealant and/or wax.

I like to grind my own polish using flawless D color diamonds. I used to use fancy color pink and yellow but they are not good for white paint. You need to buy about 60 carats and grind them up to a fine powder to do it right. Mix it up with some Stolichnaya Elit to make a paste.

I am a big fan of Menzerna polishes, they are high quality and get the job done. For light polishes I suggest using PO106FA with a white pad, if that doesn't work move up to a more aggressive pad. Remember to wash and clay first though and follow through with a sealant and/or wax afterwards (polishing)

Meguiars New Car Glaze works the bomb, easy to put on, easy to take off. If your just looking to keep your car looking nice and to maintain that new car shine, if properly washed and maintained of course, then the Meg. NCG will do the trick. Do it as often as you see a build up of swirls, every 2-3 months should be fine. Its not very abrasive and will take those light swirls, water stops, etc. I used it on my AW 335 and it really made the paint POP like whoa! PM me if you ahve any questions.
