let me guess - by putting on your seatbelt?
Flippant answer I know, but Madman's "yes" doesn't really help........

Put on the seat belt - its there to keep you in your seat and to prevent you flying out the front screen.....

Why on earth do you want to disable a safety feature? I can't think of any valdi reason to mute the warning.

I dont know how in all honesty.

but in my e92 i dont have an alram, just a light, that goes out a few seconds later. So i assume it can be turned off.

Or is this just a 320i thing?

Dealer can turn it off with their equipment, but they are not meant to do it.

Was I just lucky to not have a seatbelt warning sound on mine then?

Or do 320i's not have them?

I guess they don't think it can go fast enough to need one. lol

Get yourself an old seatbelt latch and just plug it into the holder.
The car will be fooled into thinking you are belted up.

You can turn it off by pressing the idrive button at the same time as the pressing brakes and putting the passenger seat belt whist opening the driver's door.

It will then sound ding ding dong ding ding to let you know it is deactivated. If it is ding ding dong ding dong, you need to start again.
