and the 330 that got totalled I'm guessing was infact a 335/340 as it had a dual exhaust...

Always seems to be the way. Im pretty sure if i skidded on ice at 40 and hit a tree i would die. These guys hit at 90 and are out running..

Yes, a wheelbarrow. 340i. As others have said, he's a lucky bastard. However, the car took a right wollop and he survived...some solace for us who drive these cars all the time at legal speeds.

Nope, it was on TV when the thread was posted, Channel 4 I think. Probably available on 4OD now.
Basically a gang burgled a house and nicked the keys to 3 vehicles, two of with were the F31 and a Merc AMG of some kind. All of them were caught, but 2 of the cars crashed.

holy crap - These 3 series are tough bastards,

I was pleased to hear that they mostly got custodial sentences.

Imagine the call, "the good news is we have your car, the bad news is its a tad bendy and toasty"

Was about to post this! Caught up today and was shocked with the carnage. Police professionals as ever - I was thinking don’t bother with ambulance for the scum, get there yourself as I was told when my mate had a nasty bike accident.
