IMHO, you have to be a real car guy to notice those details. I think the general public will only notice the wheels and LED tailights are different

Correction: BMW car guy. Even my friends who are really into cars and some of them sell cars don't even really notice.

Wow ancient post.

Crazy to think the differences were thought to be very subtle at first. Now we discriminate so hard between pre-lci and lci that people are willing to drop thousands updating their look.

On another note are the side skirts really different? Never knew that.

No. The 09 lci headlights will NOT fit the pre lci headlights unless you do a hood and front bumper full conversion. Longtran and others have done this. If you search under pre lci to lci conversion you will get some info

Wrong answer. Headlights are the same with Pre-lci and Lci. You don't need to do full front end conversion to fit Lci lights to Pre-lci or vise versa.

Pre-lci with Lci headlights.

When i bought my 08 pre lci i didnt know anything about 3 series and LCI face lift and stuff, but if i would of have known i would of bought an 09. FML

I learn new stuff on this forum daily. I read that the full conversion needed to be done for this. However good find on those pics.
