M2C M Performance Exhaust Sound (Without OPF)

Hi all,

A lot of you are looking to hear the MPE for the M2C, so here is a video I found on youtube where you can hear the exhaust sound at minute 5:30

The person is stating: "The car is special here because the exhaust is for the US version and not homologated in Europe due to regulation. The vehicule does not have the particulate filter (i.e. is the US version of the car)"

Thanks so much for this! I think it sounds pretty good. I believe this car is equipped with OPF so it should sound slightly louder/(better?) on a US spec car.

Was really difficult to find a sound clip so far hehe.

No the car does not have the OPF. The BMW guy mentions it is a US-spec car without OPF's.

He specifically says there is no particle filter and it's the US version of the exchaust.

Wondering if it's the normal exhaust for US spec... where does it say it's the MPE?

No, that's M2 MPE

What about the m2 rear section is different then m2C to make it not work, I’m curious if you know? Is this a catback? It sounds great I think.

This is def the Only exhaust that has me questioning my AKra purchase

M2C has duel pipe to exhaust. M2C MPE was supposed to be released end of June but got pushed again. Prefer they get it right vs. rushing it.

Im really torn now. Sounds great, looks dumb. Muffler hangs too low and I don't like the tips (unless the have cut/angled as an option)

Recorded on a phone... I want to hear it in real life before I make those claims.

Next to that it is the most expensive exhaust, it hangs too low and the tips are too small.

Nice try by BMW, but I know now why they are so reluctant to sell it :P

usually what missing from a mobile phone are the lowfrequecies. it should sound better in reality.
