Noob saying hello ( few questions )

Hello

Been browsing this forum for some time as i have the inevitable itch to mod/upgrade my car. I used the e46zone forum for years back in my e46 days so i know the amount of knowledge from fellow enthusiasts is priceless

My current car is a 65 plate 335d xdrive msport ( estoril blue ) with M-performance kit

So far i have had it mapped by ecotune in glasgow, running 374BHP and 700nm

New wheels and tyres due to the lovely potholes in glasgow

I currently have eibach springs on order to drop the ride a little and whilst its in the garage i'm thinking about getting the headlights replaced with angel eye xenon type

These are the 2 options i'm toying with........ factory look or the black/smoked but not wanting to look like a 'boy racer'

anybody got pictures of each on the car?

cheers

Personally, think top oem look looks better. Let us know how you get on with the map as I’m thinking about getting it too but old stories of “ecoboom” putting me off.

I had my old e46 330d mapped by Ecotune, and it was epic. Stan did me a custom high torque map that was well above the regular Maxitune level, and never had a problem. A friends e91 335d was also done, and that was (is) fantastic.

I’ve not gone searching for bad reviews, but I’ve only read good things personally.

Like your man said above, nothing but good storys and reviews about ecotune. I done my homework before going there and i was not dissapointed. The car runs perfectly and iv never had a problem. Highly recommend them if your thinking about a map

The first set of lights look the best in my opinion, OEM style

Garage List
I'd stick with the top set

The second set, the SWDRL lights look a bit cheesey if I'm honest, and don't look so good on the car but it's all down to personal preference.

I think that the OEM look is actually spot on, the hex lights just don't flow with the rest of the car.

The lights above are for LHD only also so looks like the OEM look is the winner
