How late in the process can port installed accessories be canceled from an order?

So I've agreed in principal on a deal for a car the dealer has coming in the port next week. The dealer ordered the car with some port-installed accessories that I'm not interested in (wheel locks and overpriced rubber floor mats). They are listed on the VIR the dealer sent me.

Can the dealer drop those from the vehicle at this point since they haven't even been added?

Personally I'd rather save the $300.

I don't think that is a problem, but you should probably ask them.

If the work order hasn't started at port of entry then most definitely you can remove. Ask your CA.

You can add/remove up until the car reaches the port.
