well think of it this way, there are hundreds, if not thousands of 335is out there...and the minority is say, just guesstimating 10%? those 10% are on this forum and out of those 10% there is an even smaller minority that has HPFP failures, but then again, those 90% outside of the forums are probably experiencing that as well. Most people come to the forums when they have a problem, and not everyone is an enthusiast...

So my guess is that it is probably less than 10% of the owners, but again, that's just my guess, not sure in any way shape or form...

I had one have a HPFP problem on a test drive. Not good.

Mine just died with no warnings like long cranks. So you can't really put a time frame on it. Long cranks may be a symptom of problems to come with the fuel pump but as in my case were not a symptom at all. My original pump lasted 33k then just died.
