Active Cruise Control vs Driving Assistance Professional Package?

Is Active Cruise Control included in the Driving Assistance Professional Package? When doing "Build Your Own" on BMW USA site for 2019 X5, when I have Driving Assistance Professional Package selected and then select 'Active Cruise Control', the tool indicates it must REMOVE 'Driving Assistance Professional Package' in order to add Active Cruise Control.

When reading the full description for the Driving Assistance Professional Package, it does not mention anything about including any Active Cruise Control.

Thanks
JC

Then it’s not. You can go on the build-your-own bmw configurator to see what is and isn’t included in various packages.

Simple answer, is yes it is included.

It removes Driving Assistance Pro because you can add ACC + Stop/Go as a stand-alone option without DAP.

Does the traffic jam assistant just let you know when it can be used?

Yes, but it's an extensive and cryptic message that even, in effect, proposes checking the manual for details in the middle of the drive :-/. First time it came on, I thought it was a trouble code, there was a lot of reading on multiple displays required to figure out that it was just notifying me that it was now possible to touch the steering wheel less than before. LOL.

Yes, when the conditions are met a message will appear in the IC and the toolbar will contain a new option. You just need to hit the Mode button to engage it. Here is a link to a few pics I took.
