What is this?

i was cleaning the car today and decided to take the battery cover off just cause i was curious. I noticed this was just hanging around, anyone know what it is? Im talking about the thing i have in my hand by the way.

Apparently it's a wire for PDC and just goes unused if you don't have that option...I had the same question a few weeks back:

Some of the links seem to think it's for PDC... can't be as I have PDC + the loose connector. So not everything you read here is 100%.. How can that be tho.. must be a miss typo

its for the battery cutoff for shipping...one goes under the rear seat and one is above the battery...
