ALL 335i's get the oil cooler now?

I thought only the sport package 335i's got the oil coolers? I just spoke to a friend who works at BMW and he is telling me all the 335i models, sport or no sport package, get the oil cooler now after some over heating issues.

Can anyone confirm this?

+1

For those with the oil cooler as we know it now:
335i pre March 07 build w/ sport pkg., only MT's got the oil cooler
After March 07, all 335i with sport got the oil cooler
I have one of the early build with AT and had mine retrofitted

335xi, you need sport package AND 18" wheel option to get oil cooler.

As I said that is how its been, but the OP is bringing up a point that possibly all of them are getting it now, which is what it should/needs to be.

Yeah, I will never understand why you had to have the 18" wheel option on the XI even if you had the sport package to get the oil cooler, makes absolutely no sense to me.
