was there myself couple months ago. Fortunately, I was given the build code 2-3 weeks after order so when i checked the car it had already started production. It's quite amazing how quick it goes. The marine traffic is interesting as you can watch the ship to the minute on where it is. When it hits international waters no more updates till it gets to US coast. Do they truck or transport car by train to the west coast when it hits US port?

Enjoy the journey. I took screen shots on my phone as much as i could to remember the days of assembly.

Well, obviously feel free to check as much as you want, but if you're in California, realize that Germany is probably done for the day before you get up, since they're 8 or so hours ahead of you and that one change a day is all you're likely to see. Unless they run multiple shifts building, which they could but I'd suspect not.

I checked mine a couple times a day, but I'm in EST so once or twice I'd see two changes a day.

Mine is arriving at the port today or tomorrow (hopefully), so once I get the ship name I'll be watching that.

Question: did you get the ship name from your dealer or somewhere else?

My sales guy had the name of the boat in their system.

I had problems accessing from my phone this morning, but it was up on my desktop all day (and yesterday too). You might try something non-mobile of you haven't.

Thanks, I was looking on my PC but Chrome kept loading the cached version of the page. Had to clear cache and it loads now. Bad news, still hasn't moved from "Order Received" lol

After surviving the long month of August "Shut down" my car flew through the steps in the last week. Suddenly it's at "dispatched from factory" I'm guessing this means it's on a train or waiting for a train to the port.

Nice to know the car is actually built

When you add port items. Are they put on in the Germany or U.S. port?

Getting excited but the wait is still going to be forever as it's a California delivery

In similar situation, the car cruised through production last week and it's at the port awaiting pickup. "Productions begins" to "Ready to Transport" was only a few days. I've read 13 to 17 days to the east coast, not sure how accurate that is.

Port added accessories are installed at the US port.

Fair warning: mine sat at the port in Germany for about 3 weeks before getting on a boat.
