Issue with ppf full wrap

My car was fully stealth wrapped a month ago and looks great; my guy did a good job. However, the door handles were poorly done and he wanted to redo them. Well he redid them today and it’s looking like I’m going to have the same issue: the edges are lifting as the handles curve in about 3 ways at once and it appears to be too much for the ppf to take.

Question: have any of you successfully ppf’d your handles? My guy is recommending I just vinyl wrap that one piece (maybe in a high gloss black to match the rest of the Competition trim) if this ppf attempt on them ends up failing. They need to be ppf or vinyl as otherwise the base metallic Donnington would show and would look silly vs the satin finish of the rest of the car.

Suggestions?

Subscribed. I'm looking to get my car fully wrapped as well.

Would you mind sharing where you had it done and what it cost?
