2019 X3M40i Glacier Silver Arrived

Picked up my Glacier Silver M40i on Saturday. Excellent experience from order to delivery. This is my first BMW coming from a 2016 Ford Edge Sport. My lease expires next month so I timed it perfectly. I didn't go all out on options, I got what I needed and stayed away from the wants. Was going to wait for the 2020's but the deal I got (12.5% dealer discount +incentives) and the 2.99% APR were, in my opinion, pretty solid on a custom order. Pics to follow as I have to get it sealed up properly.

I was debating on whether or not to get adaptive or wireless charging and honestly the forum reviews swayed me toward adaptive as it was said to be the best bang for the buck option. I haven't had time to really drive and gather an opinion, but today was the first drive home from work on a washboard type area of street. In the ford edge sport (21" wheels), I would bounce around like a pinball. In the X3 with adaptive (coded to default) it was VERY composed...more to follow though as I need more time to discern how good it actually is. I really wish adaptive had an "individual" option like sport. The stiffer steering will take some getting used to, waay stiifer than the sport mode adaptive steering in my ford edge sport.

Looks great in silver. Getting my grey one end of the month, it an ex demo so unfortunately no choice on colour. Silver is the way to go! Well done.

OP, congrats on that great looking color.

CWbrow2....I have both, adaptive suspension (AS) and wireless charger (WC)..if I were to pick, I would select AS. I am not a bit impressed with the WC. It charges, very slow, makes my phone hot, and I just dont like it really. AS, on the other hand, it does not make the road less noticeable (in my opinion), but it makes the X3 incredible stable/solid/no body roll on turns and sudden lane changes...a must in you drive around Northern VA area....

I agree, though I only have 137 miles on the odo, most of it has been in adaptive. I think thus far it is the best of both worlds. As for wireless charging, I can always get/do the cheap mod from aliexpress and install but for now I actually like the cubby space. I get up to NoVA quite a bit (Chantilly/Ashburn) so I know what you mean.

I live near Chantilly...name of the town is Aldie, but it's basically near Chantilly. BTW, pressing the AS button is my daily routine...."start", "deactivate ASS", "press AS", then disengage "emergency brake"..and go.

I coded adaptive as default/ASS off.....
