Easy Exit entry Coding F32

Hello,

I have a 2015 bmw 428i coupe. I tried to code the easy entry with bimmer code but didnt work. Im 100% sure i did the correct steps. My car is from the Middle east, is there something Im missing? Would appreciate the correct codings.

Hello,

I assume you are asking about the seat moving backwards upon exit? These settings worked for me.

3000 EINAUSSTIEGSHILFE set to:Modus_FA_SLV
3012 EAH_VERFAHRWEG_SLV_PHYS werte = 00, 3C
3012 EAH_SCHUTZFREIRAUM_HINTEN_SLV_PHYS werte = 00, 32

I referenced this post when initially setting it up:

Does the ignition have to be turned on?

I'm not having any luck with those settings on my 2018 LCI F32.

Could you please share your values for EAH_ANFAHRHYSTERESE_SLV_PHYS?

Also, in my car, the EAH keys have been moved from 3012 to 3015.

I was able to easily change the values using Bimmercode app in expert mode. If you're new to coding, I'd start with some of the basic introductory stuff. There's a lot in the DIY forums.

The VERFAHRWEG value governs how much the seat should move back (hex 3C = decimal 60 mm); the SCHUTZFREIRAUM value governs how much seat rail is left at the back (32 = 50 mm). Depending on how far back you have your seat while driving, there may not be enough space left at the back of the rail for the movement you are requesting. I use values 3C and 1E (30 mm) in my 2018 LCI F22 and it works fine, but it hadn't been working before with a larger SCHUTZFREIRAUM value.

These parameters may be in 3012 or 3015, depending on software version, but they are the 1st and 3rd parameters in their section, regardless. The default value for ANFAHRHYSTERESE (the 2nd parameter in the section) is 1E, which works in both of my cars.

Thanks to 19bis, I got it working.

He pointed out that 3C needs to be entered in Bimmercode with a capital letter, so 3c won't work.

Was hoping someone would be able to guide me on how to change these values on BimmerCode and what I should be changing them to:

3012 EAH_VERFAHRWEG_SLV_PHYS
3012 EAH_SCHUTZFREIRAUM_HINTEN_SLV_PHYS

Thanks in advance!

Just enter custom values as indicated in earlier posts in the thread. You may have to have CAPS LOCK ON.

Thanks for the quick reply!!

3012 EAH_VERFAHRWEG_SLV_PHYS enter 00, 3C

AND

3012EAH_SCHUTZFREIRAUM_HINTEN_SLV_PHYS enter 00, 32
??

You mentioned you used 3C and 1E. Where did you enter 1E?

Enter 1E as the custom value for the SCHUTZFREIRAUM parameter.

Enter 1E as the custom value for the SCHUTZFREIRAUM parameter.
Awesome thanks!! 1E will move the seat further back than 32?

Thanks for the screenshot man! What's the difference if I use 1E vs. 32 from the original post in this thread?

Go back & look at my post from 8/11 (#7 in the thread). This value governs how much space must be left at the back end of the seat rail - I couldn't get easy entry to work until I used the smaller value.

Just finished coding it and def makes getting in and out of this car a lot easier!

3012 EAH_VERFAHRWEG_SLV_PHYS was already set at 0x00 0x3C

THANKS AGAIN for all your help 19bis

Quick question... when you open the door to exit, the seat moves back but does it stay back once you lock the doors or does it move back to the original driving position? The reason I’m asking is because the first time I coded it the seat moved back to the driving position once I locked the doors and moved backwards when I unlocked them. I found this strange so I reverted back to my backup and recoded it and now it stays back when I lock the doors and doesn’t move back to the driving position until I get back in the car, close the door and press the start button.

Generally, the seat should stay back after you exit and close & lock the door. Once in a while it doesn't do that, for whatever reason.
