Portimao Blue roof wrapped in gloss black vinyl

Roof wrapped in Avery gloss black without removing the sharkfin. Wanted to wrap the grille surround and mirrors but vinyl wont adhere to the edges of the plastic.

I got my vinyl to stick on mirrors and grill. Holding strong 4 weeks in, seems fine. Roof looks awesome though!
Edit: Dipped the bumper vents black though.

Wrap guy said it was not sticking to the edges. Do you know which brand vinyl was used on yours?

Avery aswell! I had to trim it once and re-train it with a hairdryer once. After that, she stuck. Hope that helps!

You have given me hope I will order some vinyl and try it myself. I also found these gloss black mirror caps. https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-BMW-G20...IAAOSwE~pdIAhm

What did you use to wrap it? And how was the process? Easy or difficult? I want to wrap my trim as well.

The process was not very difficult. I bought a 2 inch wide 3M gloss black vinyl roll from amazon, a heatgun and a squeagee tool to do the job. You will also need trim removal tools to safely remove the roof trim. There are several clips that hold the trim to the body that are pretty fragile.

In retrospect I should have had the wrap shop do it for me, it will probably cost $50 less if you do it yourself and need to buy all the tools.
