Is $708/mo for a 330i lease a bad deal?
I was pretty set on a lease on a 2020 330i for $708 per month, but after reading some of the other posts it doesnt seem like a good deal.
2020 330i total msrp of $47,903 and would be a custom order bc my dealer cant find one with the options I want. $708 per month, 36 months, no money down, includes GA taxes and fees, 12000 miles per year. I am going to ask for a breakdown of the math to see how they got to that number, but from many of the other lease posts I see on here it looks like I'm getting a bad deal. What are your thoughts? |

$700/month is M340i money, almost enough for a M3.

How is everyone getting better deals? Dealer said that price includes the $2000 lease incentive. I am active duty also and according to bmw site it only is $250 incentive for military.

Thanks for the replies. I was literally about to put the $1500 build deposit down tomorrow and it was supposed to be here in September. Has anyone in GA got a better deal for a 330i lease? What dealership was it?

What kind of deal did everyone else get? I always felt like the lease deal was the lease deal and nothing really changes other than the incentives each month.
Did anyone else order their car? what was your lease payment (with down payments, taxes, etc considered)? I want the car, but I don't want to get ripped off either. thanks |

Is your deal truly everything rolled in? Makes a difference. At the beginning of the model year, BMW often has their worst lease program. There's little incentive for them to push 2020 models when they're dropping their shorts to help dealers move their 2019s. Get the figures. Money factor Residual Negotiated price Actual out of pocket and how's it's calculated What rebates they're assuming b/c as far as I know it's only loyalty right now on 2020 330i. Unless August program is released. List of fees paid up front and rolled into lease Are you adding anything such as the $700 maintenance upgrade?

They have released the August lease specials and it. Ie has the $2k incentive along with the 19s.
The dealer said everything is included in the $708 (taxes, fees, etc) I would pay nothing when I get the car other than the first months Pmt of 708. He found a 2019 almost the way I wanted it and said that one was $670 per month so it doesnt seem like much difference (that one was minus the HK system and remote start). I'm going to ask tomorrow with a full breakdown so I can see the math. |

For a lease you still have to negotiate the price of the car. The dealer can be charging you full MSRP. Also money factor (aka interest rate) can be marked up as well. You should understand how a lease can be negotiated before signing anything. You should be aiming for at least 10% off before any incentives.

The salesman already texted me back and said to come in and he will go over the lease. Just from looking on here it seems that they must be charging full msrp for it.
So, did you guys get less than msrp even by ordering a 2020 model? |

There is no reason to go in to go over the lease. Tell him to send you all the details over email. If you go in you lose your leverage.

This was a very good deal, however I'd say $25-30 more would still be reasonable. However $670 seems high unless there's more to this I'm not understanding. Oh, BTW, difference between 10K and 12K miles is probably about $30/mo. So add that on to my figures to match yours. Use the leasehakr calculator to keep dealer honest. Guessing here it looks like your dealer is $80+/mo too high to make this a reasonable deal. However I can't really speak for the 2020 models as those aren't in blow out mode.

Just for comparison's sake - I ordered a 2020 M340i and the MSRP is $68k. I'm paying everything up front though (taxes and all fees up front) - nothing rolled into the lease and putting down 7 MSDs. So my up front is going to be a lot - $4200 for MSDs and $3700 for taxes, tags, dealer fees, etc.
But my monthly payment will be $592/month. The MSDs aren't necessary but they lower your interest rate and you get the money back after the lease ends. But ignoring that - $3700 for everything else - divided by 36 months is $102 per month. So, if I rolled all of that into my lease, it would be $692/month - still lower monthly than you and my car's MSRP is >$20k more than yours. The math isn't perfect because I didn't recalculate with the higher interest rate - but this should hopefully help you see that this is a really bad deal. My car was custom ordered too, it isn't a car sitting on the lot. I was able to get 10% off MSRP plus $2000 loyalty (I am a previous BMW owner) and $1000 lease cash. |

$3700 rolled into the lease is more like ~$115/mo after interest Calc. And OP isn't doing MSD's (some States don't permit it) so that adds another ~$30/mo. But yes, proof his deal needs more massaging.

Thanks everyone for the replies.
I may just get with bmw of Atlanta and see if I can get a better deal seeing as it is a bigger market than Savannah. I made the mistake of telling the dealer it's my first bmw and first time leasing so I'm sure I looked like a good money making target for them. |

THANK YOU!
I am glad I checked this site before agreeing to that lease. I called another dealer in Atlanta area and they are giving me the same lease for $110 less per month. |

2020 49k 330i for under $600 is actually pretty good, considering that he doesn't qualify for loyalty credit, and he didn't do MSD. Georgia also has 7% sales tax, which is higher then many states.
