Can Anyone Identify This?

When it comes to horticulture I am clueless as the only thing I have ever grown is a class B controlled substance.

I have noticed these things growing out back every summer for the last few years but have not dared to try them as I don't know what they are and am worried they might be poisonous.

I thought I would try to use my neighbor as a guinea pig but it turns out he has always wanted to try them too and didn't know if they were edible either.

Are they not common blackberries, grow on bramble like bushes pretty much anywhere?

wont be as lucrative as growing class B stuff but definitely more legal...

These are blackberrys. The black ones are ripe, but they are quite seedy. I find them too sweet on their own, but they are good when cooked with Bramley apples.

I'm guessing your not a rural person

I'm hoping you're trolling.

But if not, then yes, as already said, they are blackberries. And lovely.

Everybody is wrong, it may look like blackberries, however if you dry it out and chop it it up it’s England’s finest skunk, it’s more common than the likes of spice amongst the folk of the West Country and Devon.

Put it with apple and a line of castor sugar and it’s mind bending.

These are called "smultron" here in Sweden translates to "wild strawberry" and are delicious.

popular garden plant here, you can find them in the forests aswell!

we even have a saying where you call a place a "smultronställe" wich means "wild strawberry place" it's referring to a secret place that you like/love but want to keep for yourself so you dont want to share it with everyone.
