Any G20 owners via Arval leasing?

Does anyone have a G20 via Arval or Lex Autolease? Have they disabled the Connected functions at all (e.g. lock/unlock, location, fuel level, service status etc.)?

There is a discussion going on, on a 330e thread where someone with a car from Lex Autolease has had all his PHEV remote functions disabled (e.g. check battery level, pre-heat etc.) as part of their leasing policy. Grrrr...

Confirmation today from my dealer that Arval DO NOT ask them to disable Connected Drive functionality :-)

Mine will be Lex vehicle. They have told us ages ago that these features are disabled to stop us taking the car to dealers it suggests. As Lex want to be in control of all vehicle maintenance.

Which is funny because when I had my 300h they didn't mandate where I had to take it for servicing (or given my ownership experience more likely warranty repairs!), just had to be a Mercedes main dealer. I think they need to get with the times...

That's the same message I've had, but lex cars I've had in the past have all gone to main dealers for everything anyway. I think once it went to a kwikfit because I had a puncture on a Sunday.

I take mine to main dealers too, tyres for me are always Kwik fit as the do small emergency repairs for us too.
