ECU/DME
hey i have a few questions about bmw's and there corresponding DME units. there seems to be a lot of confusion around about the control module on these cars and if they are actually hackable.
First question is there a bmw equivalent of vag-com for vw and audi vehicle? Second is there any software availabe for end users to tune there dme's with custom maps values and so on, such as openecu for subarus or evos? third does anyone knoe what software or programs dinan or equal bmw dme re-flasher uses to get this result? Fourth does anyone know the real story on shark edit? the reason i am asking is i have an e90 325 with a nitrous/turbo modification and there desnt seem to be a chip out there or anyone who can tune my car and by my nature i would rather do it myself as the learning experience is invaluable. thanks for your time and advice in advance |
