F30 2018 340i - install european tail lights
Hello
I have been searching this forum without success. I would like to install european amber turn signal tail lights. I believe all my lights are LED. Can I only buy the lens? What part number should I buy? Is the conversion easy? |

You can't buy the lens but the whole assy. EU and US taillights have different PN and could only be changed complete.
In Germany meanwhile BMW sells also taillights with red colored turn light lens but compensate this with yellow bulbs. Not sure how this works with LED, they may be just white and the color is realized by the lens.

The LEDs are integrated into the lens, have to swap the whole assembly. Also just a warning, if you do find a set of euro tail lights, check the threading on the bolts for the inner trunk lights. Everything I could find says they should be 6mm, but I just got a set from england and they were 5mm. I had to go to home depot to buy some new nuts.
