Annoying seat belt position

The driver's seat belt on my X3 annoys the hell out of me as the height from the B pillar cannot be adjusted.

With my preferred seat position the belt is too high on my chest, cutting across the lower throat/chest area.

Has anyone fitted one of these and found it altered the position to eliminate the problem I describe?

I have the same problem and was shocked the height can not be adjusted.

I find this really surprising for a premium brand car. Surely someone has found a solution?
All very well saying adjust the seat, but that is not really the answer and I like the seat high, lower will make it worse.
