Bluetooth Automatic Connection

Hi Guys...I have a BB 7290..while I know that it isnt on the "official" compatability list it still works...the address book doesnt work but i knew that wouldnt work....my problem is that the BB automattically picks up and pairs the bluetooth connection, BUT I always have to confirm on the BB to accept the connection. It doesnt automattically connect and sometimes I forget to do it. Anyway can anyone help?

thx
M.

On my nokia phone, I had to set the carkit pair as authorised.

Go into the 'paired devides" on your phone, in the bluetooth menu - highlight the car - and then go options, set as authorized.

It should stop asking you to confirm the connection :-)

This

I figured this out with the help of another member..
I went into the Bluetooth properties of the device AKA "Device Properties" for the BMW, a selection appears for "Trusted" - set this to "Yes".

This works..

Hey MARVEN I am really disappointed to hear about the BB. I have the same one, and you mean to tell me the address book doesn't work? That sucks!..What about the new BB 8700 series? If that work I am upgraing to it ASAP. I get my E90 in two months and I want seamless bluetooth connectivity and address book access!

Als do you know if a cradle exists for the BB?
