Contemplating moving into a turbo car with a N55, up to 100,000km on odometer.
I'll be looking for a vehicle with well maintained log book. What do the gurus reckon I should be careful of when inspecting? And what likely repairs could be expected around 100,000km? Not familiar with this platform. Any common troublesome issues like turbos, fuel pumps, oil leaks, etc? All suggestions and warnings most welcome. Thanks in advance. I have one with 100,000kms. Mine is a 2011 m-sport Had to do the valve cover and oil filter housing gaskets, as well as plugs and coils. I’ve had the car since 2012 and am very happy with it. N55 is a sweet engine IMO. I got rid of the run flats, changed out the rubber brake lines for Kevlar. Left everything else stock.
