Is anyone suffering loss of network availability in the car since a 1-2 days?
All my connected apps stopped updating/working. This includes weather, news, music, rtti, updating the mobile app and even calling bmw customer service with the build in SIM card. Imo, the car lost total connection to the mobile network. In some scenario's it even gives a no network message. Bmw tried to reset my car from their location but that didn't work. Now they say it is a common hiccup in a system and have to wait. I'm very tempted to use the sos button to see if the car still can connect to a network

Lucky you!
My car's SIM card worked totally for 5 days during the 3 month period I've owned the car. The dealer hasn't been able to fix this problem and says all the i-drive 7 cars in Greece have the same problem. |

Had contact with bmw customer service after 2 days. There was indeed a system error and a reset by holding volume knob for 25 seconds should help but didnt't.
They logged a ticket for me that. Now it's up to the engineers in Munich. Second ticket so far for the connected stuff
