How to keep 335 in first gear
Is there a way to take out the auto shift to next gear when you hit the limiter. Main reason I'm wondering is because when I was whipping a couple shitties for fun I hate when I hit second and the car bogs out real quick and had to jump back to first cause by the time it does momentum is gone and I have to restart and I'm sure the Tranny doesn't like jumping

I guess I forgot to mention my car is awd and I whip shitties in awd. I know source dumb but it's fun when your smoking 4 tires. That's why I need it to stay in 1st gear anything after it won't do

I can hardly wait for the stunning conclusion of this story. No idea what "shitties" are, but pretty sure they involve expensive shrapnel and poor verbal skills.

Shitties are the south version of donuts or drifts. I play in a lot of dirt so it's not like I'm on pavement constantly doing it. I have done it on pavement but it's normally when it's a little wet outside

You shouldn't be bouncing off redline regardless, RIP your cylinder head if you do. That poor valvetrain.
If you want to do donuts you can easily do that in the middle of the powerband in 1st or 2nd gear.

I hope his car is automatic if he is having trouble keeping it in 1st gear.
